Book Club – Women in Sunlight
Our Book Club Babes night this month
reminded us what happens when women gather with purpose and imagination. Hosted by Debi Catenacci, the evening celebrated Women in Sunlight by Frances Mayes, a luminous novel about friendship, aging boldly, and creating a life that still feels new.
Inspired by the story’s Italian setting,
Debi curated an evening of lavender beauty — candlelight, conversation, and biscotti gifts for each guest — weaving together food, philosophy, and friendship. Each book club member received a custom question drawn from the book’s themes, sparking heartfelt reflection and laughter throughout the night.
This gathering perfectly embodied
the values that drive Dare to Be Curious, grounded in Abundance. Curiosity. Still Growing. The spirit of Italy may have set the table, but it’s the shared connection that lingered long after the evening ended.

….four words that changed everything….
For years, we’ve been writing. Speaking. Sharing our stories with book clubs and women’s groups. But we haven’t been clear about what we’re really here to do.
So let us say it plainly: INSPIRE
Our mission is helping people see there’s always a bigger way of looking at things – especially in situations where they believe they have no choice.
Everything we do – our writing – our speaking – our platforms – comes down to four words:
ABUNDANCE
Believing in possibilities, not limitations. Choosing abundance of spirit over bitterness. Abundance means believing there’s always enough – love, growth, possibilities for all of us.
CURIOUSITY
We question everything – especially “that’s just how it is.” What if there’s another way. Following those strong desires to know or learn something about a place….a new skill ….a new hobby…
STILL GROWING
We don’t have all the answers. We’re not “done”. We haven’t “arrived”. We’re still learning. Still questioning. Still expanding. Big. Bigger. Biggest.
This is who we’ve always been. We’re just finally naming it.
And now we’re inviting you to join us.
